The Broadband Equity and Advocacy (BEA) Community of Practice is designed to foster strong peer relationships and collaboration between municipal and county government entities and their employees, broadband stakeholders at Merit Member organizations, and nonprofits.
SCOPE
Security Community of Practicing Experts (SCOPE) is intended as a resource for individuals to share experiences and best practices, develop professionally, help others grow, gain knowledge from peers and get help with problems, in the interest of improving the state of security across all Merit Member organizations.
MITE
The Michigan Information Technology Executive (MITE) forum is a community of practice for IT executives in education, government and the public sector. The forum addresses pressing issues and problem solving strategies relevant to the Merit Community.

Merit’s mission is “Connecting organizations, building community.” Our Communities of Practice provide opportunities for networking, sharing industry best practices and professional development. These groups meet quarterly, with options for remote participation.
Membership in our Communities of Practice is limited to professional staff at Merit Member organizations.
