ANN ARBOR, Mich. — When was the last time your organization tested its network for weaknesses? Has it been years, months or maybe never? Your organization and network staff can gain the knowledge and skill necessary for testing a network for weaknesses by taking the Certified Penetration Testing Engineer (CPTE) course, which will be held in Ann Arbor, Michigan, on March 24-28, 2014.

Certified Penetration Testing Engineer (CPTE) is built firmly upon proven, hands-on penetration testing methodologies. The course presents information based on the five Key Elements of Pen Testing: information gathering, scanning, enumeration, exploitation and reporting. Attendees will learn to discover vulnerabilities using these tried and true techniques.
The course is ideal for network administrators, security professionals, site administrators, and anyone who is concerned about the integrity of their network.
“CPTE is one of the many cybersecurity certification courses offered by the Michigan Cyber Range. Students can learn skills that they can use at their current jobs and earn a certification that can help with career advancement,” Adams said.
