Desktop Support Intern

Abdul joined Merit’s Information Technology team over the summer of 2024 through the SummerWorks Youth Employment Program as a Desktop Support Intern. In this role, Abdul focused on learning the basics of desktop support, reviewing and improving documentation, setting up hardware for staff, and assisting with a data center move. Abdul is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering at Eastern Michigan University, with an anticipated graduation date in the spring of 2025.
