Two Project Management Courses Offered in November

ANN ARBOR, Mich. – Merit Professional Learning is offering two project management courses in November. Each course is ideal for those seeking a career in project management or wishing to brush up on their management skills.

  • Negotiation Skills for Project Managers
    Taught in Ann Arbor, Michigan; November 6-8, 2013

    In this active, participatory course, you will practice the skills of negotiation and receive one-on-one feedback and coaching tips to improve your performance. Whether you are asking for resources, negotiating with a vendor or dealing with conflicts on the team, being a skilled negotiator makes you a better project manager. This course is eligible for 21 PMI RDUs or 2.1 IACET CEUs.

  • IT Project Management
    Live Online Course; November 18-22, 2013

    Geared to the needs of IT professionals, this course will teach the fundamentals and best practices of project management methodology as applied to IT initiatives. You will practice and master the skills you need to deliver IT projects on time, within budget, and to specification. The class will examine all aspects of IT projects, including hardware, software, vendor relationships, communicating with different audiences, and working with local and remote teams.

Special registration discounts are available for Merit Member organizations that send three or more attendees. Students from organizations affiliated with Great Plains Network, NCREN, NYSERNet or WiscNet may also attend at reduced rates. Scholarships are available for each course.
