ANN ARBOR, Mich. – Merit’s successful Academy Leadership educational program is now available to organizations across Michigan for on-site training. Organizations may schedule the On-Site Leadership Workshop and Know Your Team Workshop for their locations and provide their staff with training that will inspire and build teamwork.
In late fall of 2012, Merit Network began offering Academy Leadership’s Leadership Boot Camp and Executive Coaching. The three-day workshop received rave reviews from attendees, who found it to be an exceptional experience for developing leadership skills. The on-site workshops are shorter, lasting just a few hours, and provide the same quality of professional development for attendees.
The On-site Know Your Team Workshop is a three-hour workshop that provides managers and team members with a better understanding of their team dynamics. Leaders will receive details on the overall team composition and gain a greater understanding of how to communicate and connect with each individual, leading to collaborative teamwork and productivity.
The On-site Leadership Workshop is a six-hour workshop that helps an organization’s current and future leaders understand their team environment and develop leadership philosophies. The Leadership Workshop is based on leadership development programs used at the nation’s military academies.
Both workshops are available for on-site training through Merit Network’s Professional Services, which can assist organizations with consulting and on-site professional services.

Three-Day Workshop for Current and Future Leaders
In early 2013, Merit Network is offering Academy Leadership’s Leadership Boot Camp and Executive Coaching course twice in Ann Arbor: February 11-13 and April 15-17. In this intensive 3-day boot camp, attendees will create their personal leadership philosophies, become a better leader and master skills that can help improve business results and career opportunities. The boot camp will be led by Dr. Donald J. Welch, President and CEO of Merit Network.
