Learn to Detect Enterprise IT Network Vulnerabilities

ANN ARBOR, Mich. – IT security professionals and network administrators are invited to attend Certified Penetration Testing Consultant (CPTC), a five-day course on the fundamentals of network penetration testing. The course will be held December 2-6, 2013, at the Merit Network offices in Ann Arbor, Michigan.

Certified Penetration Testing Consultant will teach students how to detect enterprise IT network Michigan Cyber Rangevulnerabilities. Students will learn to conduct penetration tests against network infrastructures such as those operated by large organizations, service providers and telecommunication companies. The course will provide an overview of basic packet capture and analysis using common tools, as well as Layer 2 and Layer 3 attacks including both IPv4 and IPv6 stacks, routing protocols, MPLS, VPN, and SSL attacks.

At the conclusion of the course, students will take the Certified Penetration Testing Consultant exam.
