FSU Digital Animation and Game Design Program Earns National Ranking

Animation Career Review recently announced their 2016 rankings of the best schools and college programs in the United States, and Ferris State University’s Digital Animation and Game Design (DAGD) Program was ranked 16th. Animation Career Review is an online resource for those seeking careers in animation, design and gaming.

[/visibility] The DAGD program, which began in 2004, teaches students with the latest tools and technology to create digital and interactive content. Students learn the skills necessary to succeed in the digital technology field with classes in design, programming, 3D animation and business.

Earlier this year, Ferris State’s DAGD program was ranked in the Princeton Review’s top 50 undergraduate schools worldwide for game design instruction. The seventh annual report rated the DAGD program as 16th, based on factors such as lab facilities, academic offerings and starting salaries for graduates of the program.
