DESCRIPTION:
Project HORUS’s FREE infrastructure helps under-resourced researchers and institutions increase research capacity and introduces students to high-performance and high-throughput computing.
Project HORUS (Helping Our Researchers Upgrade their Science) aims to:
-
Meet science researchers’ computational needs to transform, filter, and analyze stored data
-
Increase the computational ability of under-resourced researchers
-
Facilitate collaboration amongst community colleges who offer certificate programs in data science
-
Introduce students to high-performance computing, data science, and artificial intelligence and enable new course development for institutions
-
Remove barriers to the open science grid and serve as an onramp to other national resources
This NSF CC*-funded resource is now operational. Join this informational webinar to learn about the experiences of beta users, understand how institutions of any size can take advantage of HORUS, and understand how to gain access for your educational organization.
