From Network Security to Merit Joint Technical Staff Issues, Discussion Communities Keep You Up-to-date

Merit maintains email lists for a wide variety of audiences. These include informative lists about Merit, general interest discussion groups, and national/international discussion groups.

Limited-Access List

Business Continuity

Business Continuity archive. The bc@merit.edu mailing list covers Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery and is a limited-access list. Only Merit Members may join. Members of bc@merit.edu discuss procedures Michigan organizations are putting in place to prepare for a potential catastrophic event, such as a system failure, natural disaster, or fire. The "Business Continuity" list is a limited-access listservs with postings archived on Merit's web site.

General Interest Lists

General interests listservs are open lists. Anyone can join, and all members can post.

Erate

The Erate mailing list archive gives individuals an opportunity to ask questions about the Universal Service Fund (USF). You can view the latest Erate updates by subscribing to the mailing list or by using the RSS feed.

The North American Network Operators' Group (NANOG)
