One of my favorite parts of my job is when I get to interact with Merit Members–and I often do that when we work together to bring professional development into their offices, to their staff. Sometimes, you need your whole team to get some new training in secure coding, or you’d like to improve everyone’s leadership capacity, or perhaps you want to become an Agile project management shop. Our regularly scheduled courses may not meet your timeframe, your budget or your travel constraints.
Merit Professional Development can still deliver the education and training you need, at your office and on your schedule—and usually, it is more cost-efficient for you to bring us on-site.
We have designed specialized leadership training for University of Michigan, custom cybersecurity classes for the State of Michigan and Saline Public Schools, and specific technology training for Michigan Tech. All of these started with a phone call to a Member Engagement Manager (MEM), and ended with satisfied and well-trained Merit Members.
We can bring any training you need right to you, or we can host it at Merit, in one of our state of the art classrooms—including the brand new Huron Learning Center, equipped with Cisco Telepresence. Voice-tracking cameras might be some of the coolest technology we have in our office—and that’s really saying something!
For custom training and private classes, the sky is the limit when it comes to content. We can develop or find someone to teach nearly any subject out there. This isn’t limited to technology or cybersecurity concerns. This includes our Change Management workshop, courses on leadership and management, as well as standard technology courses.
