Merit Cloud Media now allows organizations to post video content from commercial providers, including PBS, Media Education Foundation, University of Michigan Press, and others. Merit Cloud Media subscribers that have existing agreements with commercial vendors can request to have videos added to their cloud media collections. Members can also purchase content from over 50 participating commercial vendors at a discount, up to 25% off.
In addition, schools can now choose a Merit Cloud Media package that fits their organization. Service options are available in either standard, pro or enterprise. Members can subscribe to a package that provides the necessary amount of storage and capacity for their organization, and if needed, integration with learning management systems.
