Biography:

Jasmine Powell is a Mathematics Ph.D. candidate at the University of Michigan, researching fractal-like objects that arise in the field of complex dynamics. She brings her enthusiasm for visualizing and understanding mathematical patterns not only to her research, but also to her teaching at Michigan, where she won the Outstanding Graduate Student Instructor award, and to her hobbies, which include working at a local escape room.
