Here's some information on what I like to do when I'm not working:
I like to ride bicycles, especially my recumbent bicycle. Common questions about recumbents can be answered by selecting this. I participate in recumbent bicycle races and in 1997 I came in first in the stock class of the North American Human Powered Vehicle Speed Championships. An organization that supports efforts to promote recumbent bicycles is the International Human Powered Vehicle Association

My other hobby is Ham Radio. I also combine my hobbies by operating my ham radio while bicycling.

At my home station, I'm primarily active on VHF/UHF using SSB and CW.

Last year an ice storm with 1.9 cm radial ice followed by 80 km/h winds destroyed my antennas.
