As Merit continues to build its facilities-based backbone, it is realizing its goal of creating a statewide owned education and research network.
This strategic approach provides, for the first time, the ability to control cost into the future. That is, Merit will be able to provide transit
within Merit's network at a relatively lower cost.
The On-Net/Off-Net pricing model rewards membership and builds collaboration within the Merit community.
Our Members receive the benefit of the low incremental cost of traffic that remains "On-Net" or within Merit's network.
