Merit Network has negotiated licensing agreements with hardware/software providers
to better serve our Members. The MeritLicensing Service can provide licenses to Merit Members, often at a
reduced rate.
Current licensing programs include:

Virtualization is a proven software technology that is rapidly transforming the information technology (IT) landscape and fundamentally changing the way that organizations compute. Merit has an unlimited ability to provide VMware's industry-leading suite of state-of-the-art virtualization software and technological support services. Eligible Merit Members in Michigan that may receive discounted pricing include higher education, K-12, public libraries, state and local government, and medical teaching health care facilities that receive more than 50% of their funding from education.

Zimbra's email suite provides advanced functionality and dynamic features for email, calendaring, messaging, and document sharing.
