Remembering Gayle TerkeurstIt is with deep sadness that we share word of the passing of Gayle
Terkeurst, a longtime member of Merit's staff. Gayle passed away on
Tuesday, June 22, 2010, after a brief illness.
Gayle worked at Merit since 1998, serving as research secretary and
project coordinator. She contributed to many projects during her tenure;
in particular she worked to support Merit's Professional Learning
program, coordinating workshops and events for Merit's Membership. In
recent years she also supported the meetings of the North American
Network Operators' Group (NANOG).
We will always remember Gayle for her warmth, kindness and generosity of
spirit. She could always be counted on to bring a smile and an upbeat mood
to her work, and she was an ideal and caring hostess at meetings and
conferences.
Please join us in remembering Gayle, celebrating her life, and wishing
sincere condolences to her family and friends.
