ARRA — Stimulus Information

Merit Community:
As you may know, The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA) was signed into law by President Obama on February 17, 2009. It enacts $787 billion in appropriations and tax cuts over 2009 and 2010. We have received many inquiries for more information, to share what we know from our involvement in national communities, and to partner with our Members and other providers to help with the technology portion of the ARRA (a.k.a. Stimulus Legislation and Economic Recovery Act of 2009).
We have created a web page on our web site, located at:
http://www.merit.edu/stimulus/. Iinformation on this web page are links to other useful information or documents in pdf for you to download. Please feel free to submit and share information that would be helpful to others in the Merit community.
We will update this page as we receive new information. We will also send updates and other information to those interested via the email distribution list: stimulus-info@merit.edu. Please subscribe to this email list at:

There is also a contact form to submit collaborations opportunities, we are very interested in working with you and others to provide broadband access through-out Michigan and to support any of our Members' initiatives regarding the technology portions of the Stimulus Legislation. You can also submit additional resources, request a meeting, or send us a question related to the stimulus legislation using this contact form.
