Is there a todo list that shows what still needs to be done to be called a finished product?

I was hoping to start testing this on Debian as far as capturing data and having it in the correct format, is that part ready in the cvs/svn codebase?

Not yet, it's far from complete to be used for CALEA right now.  But
it's moving ahead, and will eventually (we're hoping < 1 mo.  :) be
there.  You might want to look at overall calea compliance
issues/procedures, etc. as they affect you, and familiarize yourself
with the different pieces of opencalea if you need a distributed setup,
so you can have everything else ready.

Quite possibly ... you have any particular area of strength/familiarity?
It's currently entirely in C, will be fairly network centric, and we've
gotta use the compiled asn structures to shovel data around - anything
stand out as an area you'd like to work on?  You might join
opencalea-devel and even drop by the irc channel (which has been seeing
a little more traffic lately).  (irc://irc.freenode.net/#calea)
