Re: Scanning for Viruses

We use 2 different techniques.
1. Our mail relay returns email with .exe, .bat, .scr, etc..
attachments to the sender with a note to zip them up if they really
intended to send the file to us.
2. We're running Symantic Norton Anti-virus for Exchange on our
Exchange box. One note, the default configuration will scan compressed
files, consuming large amounts of CPU and memory resources. We
disabled this functionality via a registry hack.
