I once suggested something along the lines of:

interface Loopback0
  ip address 1.2.3.4 255.255.255.255
interface GigabitEthernet0/0
  ip address 192.168.0.1 255.255.255.0
  icmp errors-from Loopback0

But I was yelled at for trying to break traceroute.
