Good, cheap access can be found at www.flex.com. 5-minute setup, and since you're on this list you should meet their definition of 'clueful user'. :)

Someone asked about Hawaii access, I got this from a coworker that used to
live there.
He can try the "Internet Cafe." I can't remember what street that is on.
But, for the price of coffee he can stay there for hours. At least that's
the way it use to be!
