Sometime try this:  (Status codes not necessarily correct)

shell> telnet mailserver.yourdomain.com
220 Mail Server Ready  ESMTP
HELO iMach.com
250 Pleased to meet you, iMach.com
MAIL FROM: <spammer@yourdomain.com>
250 ok
RCPT TO: <recipient@of.spam.com>
250 ok
DATA
250 Send Data one line at a time followed by a .
to: make.money.fast@wherever.com
from: make.money.fast@yourdomain.com
subject:  Make money fast, you looser.

You can now make money faster than ever before just send us a bazillion
dollars first.
.
250 Message accepted for delivery
QUIT
250 Goodbye

Or, in other words, you can put ANYTHING YOU WANT in the sender envelope.
That is what is on the mail-from line.
