Would that be the Dec 1996 issue, when they helpfully reviewed the
spamming packages currently available to determine which was best?
: The one tool that makes this program worth the price is its built in
: ability to scour any newsgroup for e-mail addresses in the headers or
: the bodies of postings. This allows for some very targeted mailings, as
: you can also filter out specific domain types and include key words
: from the postings to further refine your search so that only those who
: fit your marketing letter are extracted.
The company who makes the "winning package" even includes the review on
their website and puts a quote from it in their own spam. Quite the
anti-spam issue, alright.
