I second that.
Good grief....
Ok - I (we?) fall into the small ISP category so I don't really mind
hearing about a widespread client issues - not that this really was one.
NANOG used to be useful for monitoring outages and network issues - but
it's rapidly lost it's usefulness due to the massive amount of noise
caused by bitching regarding what is on topic and what isn't.
I rarely look at Nanog during the day anymore since it takes too long to
sort anything useful from it.
A little self restraint on the reply button would go a long way to
restoring Nanog to it's former useful self - and I would rather see the
moderators coming down hard on the flames and useless replies rather
than the person who posted something that might have been questionable.
