It hasn't been made apparent.  You've asserted that "many people agree
with you" - but this thread and threads on NANOG seem to be missing
those voices that agree with you.

If I recall correctly, standard approximation for marketing/survey firms
is that each speaking voice (letter, fax) represents an approximate
number of voices that do not praise|complain.  Even without trying to
plug in specific ratios, if there are "many others who disagree", there
should be some voices posting to support your position...
