Whoa. Time out. The question is not whether it's operational to ISPs (in the general sense, covering small to large, hosting, dial-access, DSL, leased-line, you-name-it providers), the question is whether it's operational to the network operations staff and management. You know, the folks who try not to touch the routers for fear they'll laugh back.

My employer has two DNS servers for customer consumption and three monitoring servers for internal use. There are no other servers under our control reachable to customers. We don't handle any end-user PCs. Therefore, I don't want to hear about end-user and/or server issues, whatsoever. I came to NANOG for _network_ (i.e. not _systems_) awareness, and that's what I'm hoping it'll get back to, once you and others stop polluting the list.
