A possible compromise?

How's this for a possible solution:
A new list gets formed for Gadi's botnet announcements (and maybe other
botnet discussion as well; we can leave charter details to Gadi). The
botnet list will be announced on NANOG, and the alleged multitude of NANOG
readers who are interested can subscribe, thus not missing any of the
valuable content.
In exchange, Gadi can agree to stop posting botnet announcements to the
NANOG list itself. The list administrators may enfore this through
removal of posting privliges if necessary.
This would allow all the NANOG readers who want to see Gadi's
announcements to do so, and would allow all the NANOG readers who don't to
ignore them.
Gadi, would this be acceptable to you?
