Y'know... there's sayings about "the spirit of the law, not the letter"
that I rather think apply here. Other posters who've been asked to
tone down the frequency/nature of their posts (Fergie - sorry to use you
as an example here, but it's apropos) seem capable of that degree of
self control.
I know that you run a variety of other mailing lists - if you feel that
the conversation and direction of NANOG (or Bugtraq or Full-disclosure)
isn't what you desire, why not bring your conversations elsewhere,
rather than tilting at windmills?
