Webcast Archive and Survey

Thanks again to those of you who participated in our webcast/streaming
test on March 22.  For those of you who were unable to participate, or
who had technical trouble, the archive of the backbone update is now
available at the following location under the heading "Helix Web Server
Test":

For those of you who participated, we would appreciate your feedback on
the test.  Please take a moment to respond to the following questions by
sending an email to survey@merit.edu.

1.  Which version of the RealPlayer client did you use?



2.  Which operating system did you use?



3.  Did the RealPlayer client connect successfully?



4.  If you connected, how stable was your connection?



5.  What bit rate was your connection?



6.  How long were you able to stay connected to the webcast?



7.  Did you need to reconnect, and, if so, just once or many times?



8.  Did you experience network congestion and/or see your player doing a
lot of re-buffering?



9.  How would you rate the audio and video quality?  Excellent, Good,
Fair, Poor, Awful?



10.  Was the video pixelated?



11.  Were the audio and video in sync?
