**Correction** Update regarding calling Merit's main telephone number: 734-764-9430

We are experiencing some technical difficulties with transferring calls 
that are received at Merit's main reception desk, 734-764-9430. The main 
technical problem has been with transferring calls from the main reception 
desk to a Merit Staff Member, some callers are experiencing a disconnect 
when transferred, some are experiencing 'dead air' when transferred. We are 
currently working on these problems and apologize for the inconvenience 
this may have caused you.

 for assistance with reaching a Merit Staff Member.

We have also received questions regarding Merit's fax number not appearing 
on your fax receipt. We have experienced problems with our fax line because 
of an analog to digital signaling conversion. We ordered an analog line and 

are forwarding the incoming fax calls to this temporary fax number. Since 
this is a temporary fax number, we do not want our Members and Affiliates 
to send faxes to this temporary number. Therefore, we temporarily removed 
the number from appearing on outgoing faxes. We are in the process of 
having our fax number: 734-647-3185 moved back to the analog system.
