Three short announcements...

[1] The Merit Advisory Council (MAC), a group of elected affiliate
representatives, met on May 13th, 1999.  The minutes of that meeting have
been approved by the MAC, and are now posted for public display at:

	http://www.merit.edu/about.merit/mac/ 

[2] In addition to this Merit Joint Technical Staff (MJTS) email list,
Merit supports and manages many email lists and discussion groups.  Some
lists, like the MJTS, are limited-access, open only to network "liaisons" 
working at member and affiliate sites.  Other lists are open to
subscription by the public.
