SNMP Router Statistics Query hits a pothole

As most of you know, Merit runs a MichNet Router SNMP Statistics Query
"engine" on our web pages at:

	http://www.merit.edu/michnet/statistics/traffic

In support of this service, it has been Merit's policy to keep the current
month and the previous month of historical router data on-line for MichNet
sites to access and build usage graphs.

With a recent upgrade to new a operating system rev. on the servers
involved in this service, we are experiencing limitations in partition
sizes.  This limits the quantity of data we can keep on-line. 
Temporarily, Merit will not be able to keep all the May data on-line. 

Today, (6/29/98) you will find that all the June data is available, but
the first two weeks of May are gone. 

The situation is *very* temporary, and should be resolved within 2 weeks. 

We have May data available to Merit staff, so if you need a graph of your
usage for May-98, contact your MichNet Internet Consultant.
