 Merit is pleased to announce that the next in our series of MichNet
 Seminars will be held on Thursday, March 6th at Western Michigan
 University in Kalamazoo, hosted by SMILE and WMU.  There will be three
 program tracks running concurrently from 9:00 am to 3:15 pm. Attendance
 to MichNet Seminars is free to organizations that are members and
 affiliates of MichNet.
 
 Track I, The Internet Today, is aimed at users with little or no Internet
 experience. This hands-on session will provide a basic understanding of
 how to use the Internet and the World Wide Web.
 
 Track II, On the Edge of Tomorrow, and Track III, The Future is Now, are
 intended for site administrators and advanced users who would like
 additional insight into advanced Internet topics and applications.

 A tentative agenda for each track is below:

 Track I, The Internet Today
 	* Introduction to Netscape
 	* Doing Research on the Internet
 	* Hands-On Activity with Netscape
 	* Netiquette
 
 Track II, On the Edge of Tomorrow
 	* Using Tables to Enhance a Web Page
 	* Now Serving...The Internet: Issues to Consider When Planning
		to Build an Internet Server
 	* PGP: Digital Signatures and Mail Encryption
 	* Windows NT: Microsoft's Internet Server for Everyone
 
 Track III, The Future is Now
 	* Web TV or Important Proposals and Developments in 
		Domain Name Registrations
 	* Netscape Communicator: First Look
 	* Internet Telephony
 	* The Rumor Mill:  What is Internet II, VbNS, and IPv6
 
 MichNet members and affiliates are invited to send up to six people.  If
 you would like additional staff to attend, we can place them on a waiting
 list for space-available admission.  Please return your completed
 registration form (below) no later than Wednesday, February 26th.  We urge
 you to register early.  Space is limited and we operate on a first-come,
 first-served basis.
