MJUS/MichNet Seminar--Agenda for all three tracks

  • From: Mariella Wells
  • Date: Wed Jul 31 17:30:39 1996

My message of July 30 ("MJUS Agenda--August 22") outlined the options
for site liaisons attending the combined MJUS/MichNet Seminar. Several
people have requested the full agenda for the three tracks which will
run concurrently that day.

As you know, Merit is rolling the MJUS meeting into the multi-track
MichNet Seminar on a trial basis. This combined event offers you and
other staff members from your site the opportunity to participate at no
cost in engaging and informative sessions. Do plan to attend and
encourage your colleagues to take advantage of this super opportunity!
For your convenience a registration form is included in this message.

                   MJUS MEETING/MICHNET SEMINAR
                         August 22, 1996
                        9:30 AM to 3:30 PM
                  Lake Superior State University
                    Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan

As outlined in a previous mailing, Merit is offering three tracks,
running concurrently from 9:30 AM to 3:30 PM. Track I offers the MJUS
meeting in the morning with a special presentation on advanced Web
topics in the afternoon. Track II is aimed at users who are less
familiar with the Internet and networking procedures. Track III is
designed for the network administrator who needs more grounding in the
technical aspects of Internet support.

Tracks II and III provide excellent opportunities for your staff to
become Internet savvy. Please encourage them to attend. In addition to
the MJUS participant, Merit members and direct-connect affiliates may
send up to six people. Additional staff may attend on a space-available
basis.

If you are able to join us, please let us know! For your convenience,
we have attached a short registration form to the end of this message.
