Of course, if is a company that cares about it's public image, then simply
telling them this is not acceptable behavior will almost always work. If they
go ahead, repsponses to the company saying that their products will NOT, ever,
be bought, should make them aware that they have crossed the line. I would
think a letter to the president of the company would get some action.
(Especially letters from the president of MERIT, the president of CICnet,
etc.)
