First Metro Net connection is in

The first of eight connections for the Metro Net Library Consortium in
and around Farmington Hills was installed yesterday. This is a 56Kbps
link via Frame Relay. Merit will be helping Merto Net install a
Unix host next week.
Sheri Repucci has been coordinating Merit's work with Metro Net.
This was her first recruiting contact for Merit, so we'd thought
we'd let her do 8 links in one just to get her off to a fast
start. She's done an excellent job for us.
