Backbone red at UofM-Dearborn

The Merit Hardware Support Group installed the MichNet backbone
router at UofM-Dearborn this week. It is a cisco MGS and it
is linked at 56K to both WSU and to Eastern Michigan. The Dearborn
PCP (RH) is on the same ethernet as the new router. The 56K link
between Dearborn and Ann Arbor will be removed shortly. This
setup means that for the first time EMU will still be connected
to the network even if there is a problem in Ann Arbor.
