The only comment I'd have on your suggestion for different restricted/
unrestricted hunt groups is that it would make the assortment of dialup
facilities "officially" supported by MichNet sites even more varied and
confusing to the end user. Aside from advertising Michnet *and* MiBell
numbers, just within the MichNet numbers we'd be offering....
- low-speed dialups (2400 or below) that may or may not multispeed
(Detroit 2400 lines are 2400-only...other Detroit-area 2400's multispeed)
- 9600 lines that may or may not have compression/correciton enabled
- 9600 lines that may or may not multispeed
- 9600 lines that may or may not have idle-time restrictions
Do we really want to do that to people?
