Does irrd 2.1.3 Support inetnum

  • From: Adam Spann
  • Date: Sun Dec 09 05:03:03 2001

I just wanted to confirm that irrd does allow creation of inetnum objects. I
have looked through the archive, and noted mention of inet6num thread, but
no reported issues with inetnum objects.

I have attempted to create an inetnum object without any luck.

This is the email response from an email submission

UPDATE FAILED: [inetnum]

#ERROR: 2: netname: Syntax error

I have replaced the inetnum octects, I was using one of our allocations

I am considering using irrd as a private database, containing more detailed
information regarding allocation of addresses to customers. Thats if its
possible, else I will have to look else where.

Could someone please confirm if I am able to create inetnum objects in a
private database, and if so, what I am doing wrong. Else I will start
looking at some alternate databases.

Kind Regards,
