PGP auth in IRRD

Hi, All:
Has anybody tried out the PGP auth scheme in the IRRD? When I tried
to submit a maintainer with the PGP auth field:
auth: PGP PGPKEY-A6789B12
IRRD replied with:
#ERROR: 8: auth: Unrecognized authentication type
And what is the procedure to use PGP-auth? Do we have to register
objects like key-cert in RIPE or otherwise how the IRRD server
verify the identity?
