Network Downtime, Outages and other events is a limited-access list. Only Merit Member and Affiliate contacts may join. Members of
this list receive notices regarding recent network events and related outages. These notices are distributed to Member and Affiliate
network administrators when the event may affect their sites' ability to access the network and/or Internet services.
When outages or network events affect multiple sites (i.e. a backbone node outage), Merit's Network Operations Center (NOC) posts such information
to the Network-Alerts email list. Contact your Merit Internet Consultant to subscribe to Network-Alerts.
The network-alerts mailing list replaced the mn-network-events list
in November 2006.
