The Webinar introduced Merit Colocation and Merit Storage Cloud, two services built to help Merit Member organizations handle their computing and storage needs.
Merit Colocation
Merit's new Metro Detroit colocation facility provides first-class amenities and service to help organizations handle remote computing needs related to disaster recovery readiness, load-balancing, virtualization, and other tasks. For organizations in need of more cabinet space, colocation is a flexible, affordable way to expand computing power without expensive facilities upgrades. With more than 200 cabinets, Merit's colocation space offers scalable solutions at a flat monthly rate.
The collocation facility provides 24x7 keycard access plus available hands-on service for unanticipated on-site needs. The facility is linked to Merit's backbone via a 10G fiber connection, and bandwidth use for Merit Member organizations is aggregated under existing dedicated connection agreements with On-Net Service.
