NetSourcing Seminar in Ann Arbor

Merit Network hosted a seminar on October 29, 2009, to introduce its suite of NetSourced services for K-12 education, libraries and other organizations, many of which are E-Rate eligible. The seminar provided valuable information for any organization that is considering options for providing enhanced services, particularly organizations that participate in the federal E-Rate program.

This seminar introduced Merit's innovative approaches to delivering critical core services for organizations, and provided an opportunity to find out why leading institutions have selected these services. The seminar was hosted at the MITC in Ann Arbor and webcast live.

Services discussed include:
  • Dedicated connection services: Innovative approaches for meeting connectivity needs, including burstable services, WAN services and fiber construction and management
  • MeritVoice: VoIP solutions and services for every organization's needs, including IP trunking, fully hosted/managed VOIP solutions, and unified messaging
  • MeritMail: The low-cost outsourced email solution with anti-spam/virus protection, Outlook compatibility, calendaring, and more
  • Cloud Services: Cloud storage and virtual computing services to meet the growing needs of education
  • MeritVideo: Videoconferencing, live and on-demand streaming, video repository, and consulting services
  • Merit Monitoring Services: 24x7 network and device monitoring
Many of Merit's services are structured to ensure eligibility under the federal E-Rate program, which provides discounts for eligible services for K-12 schools and libraries. During the seminar we will discuss the E-Rate eligibility of each service so you can consider your options during the upcoming funding window.
